Who is MsMisery?
- I’m from Fort Worth, TX
- I’ve lived in Houston, Dallas, and Brooklyn
- I now live in Austin and probably won’t move again.
- I graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Texas at Austin in the mid-90s
- I’ve worked as a professional web developer since 1996
- I took a break from web work to teach middle-school English in Dallas for three years.
- I have one brother.
- I have no children.
- My boyfriend and I have two australian cattle dogs and one mean cat.
- By the age of 12 I had seen in concert Wings, Joan Jett, Madonna and the Beastie Boys (twice).
- The name of this blog comes from my most favorite album ever: Paul’s Boutique by the Beastie Boys. I have a PB tattoo on my back.
- My online name (MsMisery) does not come from an elliott smith song although there is a multitude of great songs with the word “misery”, including his. It is a great word.
- I don’t do MySpace or any other of the social networking crap anymore. But I do Flickr b/c photos are nice.
